Regional Fellowship Officer

Stay At School Nepal (SSN) was established in 2017 as an NGO with education as its core thematic area. Our mission to create brighter futures through better education for the children of remote public school. SSN helps to build, operate and manage hostel facilities in public schools, creating educational hubs for communities. With our help, children stay at school longer, improving their chance to have a happy, fulfilled and prosperous life. Currently, SSN is supporting 5 public schools in the Solukhumbu district. SSN has more hostel projects in a pipeline which includes construction as well as multi-faceted program of ideas and activities designed to broaden and enrich the lives of underprivileged children.


Fellowship is one of the most important programs of SSN. It provides scholarship and mentoring support to the students of partner schools. Scholarship support includes quarterly cash payment which helps to cover study and living expenses of students. Whereas mentoring support includes quarterly session on important life skills through professional trainer. Fellows will be equipped with very important life skills which will help them to establish themselves in the job market or business and improve their living standard after the completion of their Fellowship Program. For more Details

SSN is seeking a qualified, experienced, skilled, and competent candidate for the position of Regional Fellowship Officer. Creative, dynamic, proactive, result oriented, and enthusiastic professional committed for the holistic development in children's life makes best fit for the position. The position involves managing the Regional Fellowship Program as well as basic admin and finance work related to the Fellowship Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan and organize training sessions for SSN Fellows in Solukhumbu under the supervision of Sr. Fellowship Officer;
  • Organize exposure and industry visit for Fellows in different organizations and industries;
  • Networking and rapport building with different organizations and industries for facilitating job placement for Fellows after the graduation;
  • Provide valuable guidance and support to Fellows on regular basis;
  • Follow up with Fellows on regular basis for updating Fellowship database;
  • Coordinate with Sr. Fellowship Officer and Partner Schools for selecting Fellows;
  • Undertake research, networking activities, and awareness program with schools, stakeholders, community and local government for the continuous upgrading and development of Fellowship Program;
  • Provide contents and case studies useful for social media;
  • Admin and finance work related to Fellowship Program;
  • Other relevant duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualification and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master's degree will be preferred ) in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, or any relevant field  from a reputed University;
  • At least 1 years work experience in a similar field;
  • Teaching and training experience will be preferred.
