Program and Admin Intern

Position Overview: 

The Program and Admin Intern will be responsible for supporting Business Development, Documentation, Administrative and program support and identifying new business opportunities and implementing strategies to drive growth, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting market research, industry analysis, and gathering data to support consulting projects.
  • Work on data collection and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to aid in client recommendations.
  • Provide support to consulting teams by contributing to project deliverables, presentations, and proposals.
  • Collaborate with team members to participate in client meetings, workshops, and discussions.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to learn from experienced consultants and develop new skills.
  • Handle various administrative tasks related to project documentation and internal processes.
  • Collaborate with Heifer international team for leveraging opportunities and supporting the heifer mission
  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction to drive repeat business.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on market trends, business performance, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop effective promotional materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • Other job as assigned by CEO and Business Development Officer

Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (Running or completed) in business Administration, Marketing, Social Science or a related field. 
  • Interest on proposal writing, business development and communication
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments.
  • Proficient in using software and other relevant tools.
  • The Program and Admin Intern will report to the CEO and provide regular updates on the performance, challenges, and proposed strategies.
