OPAD is a non governmental organization registered with the registrar of NGOs in Zambia Organization for Promotion of Active Development (OPAD). We are currently promoting climate smart livestock keeping in the form of village chicken rearing and promoting business enterprise through the Self Help Approach. Funding for this has come from the Institute of Cultural Affairs USA and KNH. The mission of OPAD is to improve livelihoods in a sustainable manner by ensuring that the poor have a voice and have access to and control of their resources and are enabled to actively participate in their own development.
