Humanitarian Affairs Officer
UNOCHA seeks interested candidates to Monitor the humanitarian situation in the country and gather and consolidate humanitarian information from different sources and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the humanitarian situation in the country and gather and consolidate humanitarian information from different sources and stakeholders;
- Support the timely production of OCHA Myanmar humanitarian reporting and advocacy products, including but not limted to:
- Daily Operational Update
- Weekly Internal Report
- Input to Regional Office (ROAP) Weekly Snapshot
- Humanitarian Flash Updates (as required)
- Themed advocacy products for OCHA Digital Platform
- Social Media platforms
Skills & Qualification
- Master degree or equivalent
- Emergency response, immediate relief operations, and post-conflict humanitarian aid operations, Other emergency management experience
