REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

FAIRMED is a development organization based in Switzerland that is focused on providing access to healthcare for individuals and communities that are prone to diseases, disability and poverty. Established in the year 1959, FAIRMED's core focus comprises Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), persons with disabilities, and healthcare for marginalized communities including maternal and neonatal health. FAIRMED was established in Nepal as a registered organization in 2012 and it started working through its country office in 2015. FAIRMED Nepal aims to contribute towards improving the status of public health in its project areas.

About FAIRMED's Projects in Nepal:

At present, FAIRMED is implementing 4 projects across 9 districts. FAIRMED has been implementing Sindhupalchowk Integrated Health Project (SIHP) in six municipalities/rural municipalities (Melamchi, Barhabise, Chautara Sangachowkgadi, Balefi, Indrawati and Sunkoshi) of Sindhupalchowk district. For the new phase project in Sindhupalchowk, FAIRMED has a plan for geographical expansion to cover the full district and extend the project timeline up to Dec 2028.

Purpose of EOI:

FAIRMED calls for Expression of Interest from the local NGOs registered in Sindhupalchowk district having experiences and expertise in implementing public health program, especially in community awareness and behaviour change, capacity building, human resource mobilization, strengthening local health system, demonstrating evidence of reaching out to the poorest and marginalized groups, working closely with communities and local authorities (health office, municipalities/rural municipalities) to support implementation of the aforementioned project.

Expertise and experience particularly in Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), Maternal and Neonatal Health, Gender and Social Inclusion/Gender Based Violence, Health emergency preparedness and response and Disability inclusive Development will be given preference.

Submission Deadline and Instructions:

Interested Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) working and registered in Sindhupalchowk district are requested to fill the checklist that can be downloaded through the link https://www.fairmed.org. np/attachment/176/show.docx?name=Checklist%2Bfor%2BNGOs and email it to nepal@fairmed. ch attaching the below mentioned documents by 5:00 pm on 29 May 2024.

2. Copy of DAO registration Certificate and renewal FY 2080/81

3. Copy of SWC affiliation certificate and renewal certificate

4. PAN number (Copy of Certificate) 5. Tax Exemption Certificate

6. Copy of by-laws (Bidhan)

7. Copy of HR/Admin/Finance Policy

8. Copy of audit report for last 3 years 9. Copy of meeting minutes of latest general assembly

10. Organization Profile (Introduction, organogram, physical/human resource, past project details)

11. Latest Annual Report

12. Experience letters from past/current funding agencies

Note: FAIRMED Foundation Nepal will be responsible for the assessment of applications and overall selection process. Issuance of this EOI does not constitute an award or commitment on the part of

FAIRMED, nor does it commit to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of EOI

application. Only shortlisted NGOs will be contacted for further process.
